Annie Mist Thorisdottir is a CrossFit professional athlete hailing from Reykjavik Iceland. She is the owner and operator of Crossfit Reykjavik in Iceland, which is where she coaches athletes. Annie has the distinction of being only one female who has ever won the CrossFit Games two times. In 2010, she placed 2nd. Annie Thorisdottir is a Icelanders CrossFit weightlifter athlete and media-star. She has gained fame for being the sole woman ever to win twice at CrossFit Games: in 2011 and 2012. She is also known for winning the Dubai Fitness Competition in both the year 2013 as well as 2017. Annie together with her both her parents and siblings was raised to Reykjavik Iceland. Since a young age, Annie was a huge sports enthusiast and loved exercising. She was awarded numerous medals during school competitions. In 2009, she was the first participant in the CrossFit competitions in California where she was able to perform good in her first games. Annie Thorisdottir is 31 years of age (as as of 2021). She's 5'7" tall, and weighs about 67 kg. Annie began CrossFit Training in California in the year 2009. The first time she competed, she did very well and was ranked in the Top 10 out of 70. However, she was unable to get any results from this tournament and she ended it with a ranking of 11. In 2010 Annie finished 1st in European Regionals Qualifier. At the CrossFit Games under the guidance of her coach Jami Tikkanen she finished in seconds place and won the silver medal same year. In the following year she participated again in CrossFit events and thanks to her impressive performance, she took home the competition as the very first woman to be crowned winner of CrossFit Games. In 2012 Annie again won in the CrossFit Games because of her extraordinary performance. She became the first woman who won twice in CrossFit Games consecutively. Also, she received a trophy of silver in 2014 and the bronze medal at CrossFit Games in 2021. Annie currently coaches and trains Crossfit Reykjavik. This gym was founded by Annie. Annie, who is gaining fame for her athletic abilities is featured in ads for sports products such as Reebok Rogue Fitness Transparent Labs Nuun Hydration sidekick Yerbae Renaissance Periodization Transparent Labs and other. Her self-titled Youtube page has over 1,000 users, posting videos of her family, travel and other topics as well as training diets.
